Course Text
The course text is Linear Algebra Done Right, by Sheldon Axler. We shall follow its syllabus fairly closely, although I may sometimes supplement it with other materials.
Grading Breakdown
- Midterm: 20%
- Homework: 40%
- Final Exam: 40%
- Our final is on Wed, March 21 at 12:15 in 380Y.
When is homework due? Can I turn it in late?
Homework will be due on Thursday in my mailbox, by 9 pm (when the building will be locked). You can also hand it in during class. No late homework will be accepted. I'll ignore one of the problem sets, so save that for when you fall ill, or have an especially busy time. If you do all the problem sets, I'll drop the lowest score.

I hope this P-set is easy. The bookstore is still out of books and they won't be in until Thursday at noon. I'm not even sure how long they had them in, but since this weekend they've been gone.
